Lorn Natural History Group (formerly Seil Natural History Group) was founded in 2007 and currently has about 86 members. Its aim is to enjoy, study, conserve and promote awareness of natural history on the Isle of Seil and the surrounding area of Lorn.
It organises field and survey trips around Lorn, and invites local and national speakers on subjects of natural history to its monthly meetings on Seil. These meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of the month in Seil Island Community Hall at 7.30 pm.
The Group has a comprehensive website which is well worth a visit.
