The Hall is closed for all events, meetings and club/group activities until further notice. The Hall will remain accessible for maintenance/cleaning, etc.
We are pleased to announce that the Seil Island Hall Play Park has now reopened for use. However, as it is impossible to sanitise equipment between every use, parents and guardians should assess the risks of Covid-19 transmission before allowing their children to play on the equipment. We have provided alcohol hand gel at the entrance and we ask all entering the Play Park to use this, both when they enter AND when they leave, and to follow Scottish Government guidelines on social distancing when using the facility. Please respect this request to help the community stay safe and stop the spread of the virus. If sanitiser needs to be refilled, please contact 300342 or 300040 or any member of the Hall Committee.
A new donation box has been put at the entrance to the Play Park. The Play Park is equipped, maintained and funded by the Hall alone and this is expensive and requires a lot of volunteer effort. The Play Park is a well used and popular community asset, available to both local and visiting children and all donations, however small, will enable us to continue its safe provision. Lastly, have fun!
The next Hall Committee Meeting on April 5th will not take place. Instead we will endeavour to find a way to continue to do business virtually by email or other means, so that we can inform clubs and other users of the financial situation and any other developments. The Lottery will continue to be drawn and results announced. Await further detail on this in the coming week or so.
